Shirayama and Thornton (2005)

Relative growth rate of juvenile (<1 year old) sea urchins (Echinometra mathaei) growing for six months under normal and reduced pH conditions was determined. Throughout the experiment, light exposure was not controlled and the temperature of the seawater fluctuated between 20.0 and 23.9°C. Reduced pH values were obtained by bubbling CO2 enriched air into the experiment tanks.

Relative growth rate of juvenile (<1 year old) sea urchins (Echinometra mathaei) growing for six months under normal and reduced pH conditions was determined. Throughout the experiment, light exposure was not controlled and the temperature of the seawater fluctuated between 24.1 and 25.5°C. Reduced pH values were obtained by bubbling CO2 enriched air into the experiment tanks.
